Rangers get a plus 10 defense against fast units (dragoons) plus 7 if in bushes and plus 10 in forests. ![]() Next time try 8 rangers (or even better 2 rangers and 6 rogues if you have them) and see if you can't get them in forest/bushes close together. Which means you've separated your units too much. I notice you mention that the enemy took out 2 of your units but you didn't mention how many of them you were able to kill. Did you split your forces and let the enemy kill you in pieces?Ĭertainly with the 2 rogues in the second scenario if you were manually battling you should of beaten the enemy. Dragoons will only retal once so you should be killing them relatively easy. They should leave the rogues behind so if you are keeping your units relatively close together and hitting the enemy units until they are dead before moving on to the next one you should be winning. The military buildings I have is 1 Beserker building, 2 crossbow buildings, 1 cavalry, and one rogue hideout, no diamonds spent on any of them. I know strategies split from Early middles ages, but I want to know what would be a good one to conquer the provinces so I can focus on GE. Dragoons have a range of 1 so that means the 6 enemy dragoons have to come up and attack your units. I meant the campaign map, should have specified, my bad. I don't want to seem rude but quite frankly you are doing something wrong if you are losing to the enemy units you listed with the boosts that they have and with the units that you used if you are manually battling.
